For being almost 150 years old, Doane University is anything but behind the times. After initially opening doors to students in 1872, the University has been constantly evolving to accommodate higher learning.

After adding a doctoral program and making the transition from College to University, Doane felt it was time to update their current magazine to reflect their progressive attitude. They came to us hoping to put a fresh perspective on their monthly magazine to appeal to current students and alumni alike, and keep past grads up-to-date with their alma mater.

We shook things up a bit by creating a colorful, eye-catching layout with concise content that highlighted Doane’s traditions (without being too traditional). What we ended up with was an engaging, fresh magazine that makes keeping up with Doane easy for the 17,000 people who receive it.
